Our human ideas of time becomes almost meaningless in the vastness of space and the universe - twisted if you will, hence I was trying to create a vortex / spiral clock with distorted Roman numerals against a backdrop of what could be our solar system, suggesting a couple of planets and moons.
Carine's Bio
Ever since seeing my first rose window in a cathedral in Europe as a young one on an OE, the magic of glass has always enthralled and inspired me to create. For a number of years back in my old country, I was a full time stained glass artist and designer in South Africa, working together with 2-3 other artists for the owner of a small stained glass business, helping to create mostly large commissions of windows and door panels for a wide variety of clients. Since moving to New Zealand back in 2006, stained glass has become more of a treasured hobby freeing me up to let my imagination run wild and create anything I like!
